Our History
The Thompson Group has its roots in industrial power tool sales, after sales, servicing and support, and is built upon many years of experience. The original organisation “Thompson Power Tool Services” was established by members of the Thompson family including patriarch John Thompson. John has amassed 40 years of knowledge and experience across a broad range of sectors, including his early years with Thor Tools. By simply raising the customer service bar and keeping to promised schedules, the company very quickly gained an enviable reputation amongst its peers. The group in now fully certified to ISO9001, 45001 and 14001 standards.
